Barbara, who is regularly asked to serve as a key advisor, has more
than twenty-five years experience in business, education, and the non-profit sectors.
She is known for her ability to conceptualize, frame, and explain complex structures
and to evaluate the resources needed to sustain them.
As a facilitator, she keeps discussions on track and finds common
ground among divergent interests. She has served as executive director
of a school policy organization, as a school administrator, public
information director, business college associate dean, regional
director, and chamber of commerce executive director.
Her
experience also includes project management for city-wide initiatives. She opened
the Chicago supplemental education services market for a for-profit company. Barbara
has extensive experience in strategic planning, implementing and coordinating
projects, and streamlining and revising processes.
She has lived and worked abroad and is bi-lingual English/Spanish.
She has served on several nonprofit boards of directors.
